When it all began

I still remember it was 2026. In 2026, the transformation became truly palpable for the first time. We could watch, in real time, as everything around us—everything that was so ossified, corrupt, and useless—collapsed, essentially consuming itself from within. A tumor devouring its host until neither host nor tumor existed anymore. And we watched it happen. It played out before our eyes like a movie while we went about our lives in the real world.

And we just watched it all unfold. It played out before our eyes like a movie, while we went about our lives in the real world. The TV was in the living room, and that movie was playing, while right next to it people were playing, eating, making plans, building things, and philosophizing. And at some point, someone just turned the TV off. There’s nothing interesting on anyway.

And that’s how it began. We learned to be alchemists. We took all that energy of doom and used it to build our future. Being human, being embodied, became our source. To be honest, we simply haven’t taken our eyes off the beauty of our humanity since then. We haven’t stopped looking at the beauty we wanted to see. It was like a dream. I still remember that dreamlike feeling. That faith, which was still fragile and often wavering at the beginning.

We needed trust back then. Trust without proof. Trust in trust itself was the fuel for our creative engines. Until the wheels began to turn, the gears meshed together. Until it rolled along without a hitch.

2026 was the year it all began.
