An original is incomparable. My paintings are created in acrylic on canvas. My mixed media works come together from a wide variety of textile, found, and repurposed materials, combined with glittering beads, sequins, and yarns. For my drawings, I use colored pencils. Every original is rich in texture and material, but above all in something that cannot be put into words, only experienced.

It comes into being through layers, through my hands, my heart, my mind. Sometimes euphoric, sometimes wrestling, sometimes quiet and absorbed, that is how I have worked on every original artwork. In the process, I explored myself and, through the work on it, became someone new in part.
